Privacy policy draft
This draft is written in plain language for launch readiness. It is not legal advice and must be reviewed by qualified counsel before public SaaS launch.
Plain-English summary Short version: Crew Route Pro uses account, company, scheduling, field work, support, and billing information to run the service and protect each company workspace.
What Crew Route Pro is
Crew Route Pro is a scheduling, crew, route, job, time, report, and field-service management app for local service businesses.
Information we collect
We may collect account information such as names, emails, phone numbers, login activity, company codes, roles, and support requests.
We may collect company information such as business name, address, phone, email, website, logo, color settings, industry profile, feature settings, and billing status.
Businesses may enter employee/user information, schedules, time-clock records, PTO or sick-time requests, notices, and role assignments.
Businesses may enter customer, job, service, route, site/location, truck, maintenance, receipt, note, photo, signature, import, export, report, and audit-log information.
Stripe handles payment processing. Crew Route Pro may store billing status, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, license counts, trial dates, invoice/payment status, and related billing events. Crew Route Pro should not store payment card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to provide the app, authenticate users, schedule work, manage field activity, send app/email notifications, generate reports, support customers, protect accounts, and maintain billing access.
Business data
Customer companies control the business data they enter. Business administrators manage users, roles, licenses, feature settings, and data inside their company workspace.
Support access
Crew Route Pro support may use Owner Console or Support View to troubleshoot an account. Support View access should be limited to support needs and recorded in an audit log.
Sharing
We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the app, including hosting, database, email, storage, security, and Stripe payment services. We may also share information when required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Security
Crew Route Pro uses role-based access, authenticated app routes, private operational data handling, server-side email sending, and audit logs for sensitive actions where implemented. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Retention and deletion
Data retention and deletion procedures should be finalized before launch. Businesses should contact support for account data questions, export needs, or deletion requests.
Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for giving users appropriate roles, keeping credentials private, entering accurate data, obtaining required permissions for employee/customer data, and avoiding unnecessary sensitive information.
Contact
Privacy and support contact details should be finalized before production launch. For now, use the support process provided by Crew Route Pro.
